Running CSGO beta within CS2 does not work on Linux
After downloading the CSGO Legacy beta within CS2 on Linux Mint 21.2, I try to hit "Play" in my library. On Windows, I'm presented with a menu to pick between CS2 and CSGO, but on Linux, the menu does not appear, and CS2 launches instead. Anybody experiencing this bug? I already reported it to Valve's Steam for Linux GitHub page.

Gotcha, on GitHub, it's been reported to Valve, and a Valve employee has been closing duplicate threads on the issue. Hopefully this means it'll be fixed soon.

I don't know how Valve handles this, but I'd close duplicates as early as possible, no matter the state of possible fixing.

I just mean that they're aware of the issue's existence. Doing any further complaining isn't necessary now since they're already aware of the issue.

They may be doing it on their GitHub bug tracker but they definitely don't do it on the linux discussions forum (or any other steam discussions forum afaik)

I totally agree they could and probably should, but they approach the forums as a minimally moderated environment and very rarely engage directly with it, so it's actually surprising that they now did this for a specific topic

Yes, but I guess "threads" meant GitHub entries in this case.
