Steam client not adding and running GOG games on linux
I have been trying to add West of Loathing GOG to Steam, however no matter where the .desktop is located, I've tried adding the game from both ~/Desktop and ~/.local/share/applications, but the system always recognizes the game as Braid.

I had limited success removing Braid.desktop and was able to add two games yet neither of them start when run through the client but no issues when started from the main menu or the .desktop icon.

First off, are those games natives?

Secondly, you may want to add the binary/launcher script of the game (you will find the expath inside of the .desktop files). The .desktop aren't probably files that steam recognize as executables, so that it may not be able to run them.

Yes, native games.

I found the issue, steam has an issue with spaces in the name. I edited everything to remove the spaces and everything works without issues.
