Cyberpunk 2077 - won't launch
EDIT: Figured it out. Cyberpunk was installed on a different hard drive with a different format than Steam, which caused it to install the new version on that same hard drive. I reinstalled Proton on the same hard drive as steam and it now works fine.

Kind of a strange problem. Before buying it, I pirated a copy to try it and see if it worked properly on my PC and on linux. It ran perfectly, but then the next day just stopped launching completely. I decided to buy the game to see if the official version through steam would fix whatever problem I was running into, but it doesn't launch either.

I'm running Debian 10, with the 5.10 kernel from backports. Graphics card is NVIDIA RTX 3060 with the latest 510.47.03 drivers from the NVIDIA website.

When I launch Cyberpunk 2077, I can see that a process starts and is using memory, but then the process just dies immediately. If I try to use force compatibility layer, I get "An error occurred while updating Cyberpunk 2077 (compatibility tool configuration failed).

Things that I've tried and didn't work: Reinstalling NVIDIA drivers, reinstalling steam, deleting Wine prefix and having steam make a new one.

It's frustrating because I know it can run on my PC, as I said it was running perfectly for several hours before, but now something is broken and I don't know what it is or how to find out. Anyone know where I can find and error log, or something I can try to fix this?
