New AMD Cards, which one to get for a Ryzen Linux build?
Hey,

i`m contemplating to update my current gpu (gtx 1060 6gb).
I read that the AMD drivers are better for a linux system and i run a ryzen 5 2600x allready so i want to go for a full AMD build.

There were new Gpus released so i was wondering which one would give me the best bang for my buck. Id like to have a tad more performance than the 1060 has but it doesn`t have to be the non plus ultra.

I like to run some games through lutris/proton. (getting enough performance for Bf V @ 75 fps would be nice).

Looking forward to what you would suggest. :-)

I have a RX5500, works good for me on latest linux kernal with proton on the games ive played. settings maxed out. i only have athlon 3000g as my cpu. Just saying, because a RX5700 is quite expensive.
