TF2 graphical glitching
I have been trying to move to Linux as my main OS since the BETA the thing that was holding my back was my AMD 6870m hybrid graphics.

Just recently the drivers seem to be a lot better and i can get the game to a point where the FPS is playable( with some tweaking i think it will be as good as in windows) the only problem now is i am getting a lot of graphical glitching.

Here is a video of it keep in mind my frames are better when not recording.

Dose anyone know how i could fix this. Thanks.

I had that problem for a while, around the same time you originally posted this. I was wondering, does this still occur for you?

Gave up trying tbh, the drivers for my card are quite bad on windows to so i spent a lot of time trying to get windows running well.

i want to try the new beta drivers but i dont have a linux partition atm just going to wait for 15.10 at this rate and try again, if I find a fix and rember I will post it though.

I was mainly asking because eventually this effect just went away for me, maybe an update to the AMD drivers came out and fixed the problem. I use Ubuntu 14.04 with an XFX R7 260x.

I was board so i installed 14.04.3 with the new drivers and TF2 is playable for the first time on linux for me, its just a little bit worst then Windows 7 but i can live with it.

The issue is already resolved for me, all I want to know is why it started in the first place.
