Wondering if anyone can help.
I'm running steam on Linux mint 17.3 64bit and keep getting this error.

OpenGL GLX context is not using direct rendering, which may cause performance problem

I've tried the solution in https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=9938-EYZB-7457.
and it has not worked any Ideas?
