Look for an existing feature request that asks the same as you... if it exists, follow it to know how it's progressing, and try to post only to provide additional details for a proposed implementation... or open a new issue if a similar idea wasn't proposed yet, calling it a feature request, and giving as much detail as possible on how it could work/look like.
Be polite, follow instructions the site may give, and be as objective as possible, since that is their actuall work tool, not a common forum.
There are only so many of their devs workibg on the linux version too, all flooded with work already, so don't keep your hopes too high... but also don't just give up, as suggestions and contribuitions do help make any software better.
