In fact i remeber this. But i'm also referring to the titles you see on the featured page during summer/x-mas sales.
From a commercial point of view, there is no sense in advertising a product that the customer can't buy...
So, armed with this knowledge, why is it, when I click on "Popular New Releases," it gives me a list of games with Windows and Mac OS X selected and SteamOS/Linux *not* selected? Knowing I'm on Linux, wouldn't it be the opposite? I mean, is it just me, or does that make a heck of a lot more sense? Why would I want to see popular new releases for operating systems I'm not running? Sure, I can deselect Windows and OS X and select SteamOS/Linux, but why should I have to take these extra steps when the thing should automatically show me only games that will run on my OS?
Honestly, one would think, since Valve made a big deal to make Steam available for Linux a few years ago and their own OS is based on Debian, the store would be a bit more Linux friendly. Instead, it makes Linux users (and, by extension, SteamOS users) jump through extra hoops that Windows and (probably) OS X users don't have to.
I've been patient and using the Linux filters myself but it's been almost a month!
Thanks!
