Filter out all non Linux compatible games
Hi,
i find it quite annoying that my discovery queue and other entries in the featured store are suggesting me non linux-compatible games. I don't have widsords and never will... it just makes for delusion and headache to see titles i'll never be able to run!

Can there be a global option that disable or otherwise default to not showing all the non-leenax games?

Cheers

In fact i remeber this. But i'm also referring to the titles you see on the featured page during summer/x-mas sales.

From a commercial point of view, there is no sense in advertising a product that the customer can't buy...

I have noticed a recurrent pattern features of this nature being broken just before sales and fixed just after. Not saying anything. Just sayin'

It's the same with Popular New Releases. I'm running the Steam client on Linux. Steam knows I'm running the client on Linux, because it's only showing me recommendations on the store front for Linux, as opposed to opening the store in Firefox on Linux, where it also shows me recommendations that are only Windows and OS X compatible. (another issue entirely)

So, armed with this knowledge, why is it, when I click on "Popular New Releases," it gives me a list of games with Windows and Mac OS X selected and SteamOS/Linux *not* selected? Knowing I'm on Linux, wouldn't it be the opposite? I mean, is it just me, or does that make a heck of a lot more sense? Why would I want to see popular new releases for operating systems I'm not running? Sure, I can deselect Windows and OS X and select SteamOS/Linux, but why should I have to take these extra steps when the thing should automatically show me only games that will run on my OS?

Honestly, one would think, since Valve made a big deal to make Steam available for Linux a few years ago and their own OS is based on Debian, the store would be a bit more Linux friendly. Instead, it makes Linux users (and, by extension, SteamOS users) jump through extra hoops that Windows and (probably) OS X users don't have to.

The bug is related to the queue as mentioned above.
I've been patient and using the Linux filters myself but it's been almost a month!:steamfacepalm:

And set your OS to Linux at the bottom.

Valve has moved issue tracking to their Github, suggestions should be made there too:

Thanks!
