Launcher Opens, But Game Fails to Launch
The launcher opens without any problems. However, when I click on 'Play', the game does not start at all. There's no error message or any indication of what's going wrong – it simply doesn't launch. I've already tried running the launcher as administrator, but that didn’t help either. Is this a known issue, or is there any solution available?

try restart steam? could be that the steam webhelper app program thingy is borking up. happens on more games occasionally.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did try restarting Steam, but sadly the issue still persists. The game still doesn’t launch after clicking 'Play'

It’s like clicking the exit button – the launcher just closes immediately after I click "Play", and nothing else happens

So might not be a fix but worth a shot,
its an issue paradox games have and its never what you think.

Windows User?
Check Virus & Threat Detectio its in Windows Security

check manage ransomware at the bottom and allow access :)

or check block history in the same part and it should be there :3

It was a know issue some way back before the update 1.5 thanks to a window update.
Maybe you should check your current updates and maybe reinstall the newest one for a try?
But right now I didn't hear of any new issue in regards to window updates.
Maybe you should try to repair the game data/ reinstall the game?
