National Reputation Question
So... I got roped into the "Price of..." quest and didn't find the ass hat before it timed out. Now France hates me. Worse, it happened like a day or two before the main quest opened up again (Michel now wants to see me, but I can't get to him).

How do I improve France rep? I can't get into town to donate to the church. I can't get into town to accept side quests (let alone complete them). The only remotely positive interactions I can have with France is to NOT respond when the bounty hunters attack.

Any advice?

Fadey. Sneak into town from 23:00 to 05:59, visit Fadey. You have to pay him 700 doubloons to lower 1 threat level.
