House building
This game looks great, but can you build houses on islands?

Originally when I was developing the characters abilities I added one for building, it is currently disabled because there is nothing to build but a cube and there is no system for managing the items that are built, this was very early on so the game shifted and focused more on completing the ship building system and things related to the core mechanics so I have not touched it since.

Part of my original desire for the game was to be able to build oil rigging platforms / bases, though how the building would work is not set in stone. Maybe something the characters can carry or bring with the boat. Building platforms and stuff is planned for a later sprint (1-4 weeks of work I group together that is loosely related or required prior to other work / sprints) It may be months from now that I begin processing how the build system will work if it does happen as planned.

Right now the building is focused on building ships in the drydock and aircraft on the runway, which is sort of like a build area with a camera and different tools that let you build vessels. It is possible that any building remotely (on an island) will become an extension of this concept and you may be able to take a construction set item with you and deploy it as build area where you can build a house with a similar set of tools as the vessels (vs like a crafting sort of setup). It is mostly still up in the air and you are welcome to submit ideas.

I suggest supporting the game prior to this work happening because it will greatly aid in my ability to provide the desired functionality.
