Helmets are similar which eliminates one of the obvious differences when you play Germans vs Russians, or in modded RO1 Germans vs US/UK.

Gotta identify the uniform colour, japanese are brown, Marines are Green with camo helmets.

Also by and large every Japanese rifleman has a 24 inch bayonet on the gun, something most US do not and would need to unlock. If they have a really big bayonet on their rifles they are likely Japanese.

This is my impression too. And running the wrong way can backfire quite easily. So no real solution. Just increase the saturation (?) a bit.

I've only accidently shot a friendly once or twice.. and they were hiding in bushes.

Also, japanese soldiers runs in the same manner as the germans do in RO2(the rifle in one hand), and consequently the americans runs in the same manner as the russians do(rifle in both hands). Check you map by pressing M often and try to locate where you allies are, and always analyze your surroundings. But friendly fire will unfortunately happen now and then.

I have watched a dev video and the models are alot different from the ones in the beta, I expect these beta models to change.

Axis: run with gun in 1 hand
