3 is a common design, a picture with the brand would help to identify it. Regardless, it's a red dot.
4 is an Aimpoint Acro, mini red dot for pistols but can be used on rifles/SMGs as well.
5 is a Sig Bravo 4, prism sight, fixed 4x zoom, rifles
6 is an EOtech XPS3, holo sight, rifles and SMGs
7 is a Leopold HAMR, prism sight, fixed 4x zoom, rifles

If you have ideas for names that feel realistic and cool—but are clearly distinct from real-world brands—please share them! We welcome any suggestions as long as they are original and safe to use in our game.

Also, we’re thinking about adding short descriptions for each scope or sight. These would show up in-game when you view the item info, giving a bit of flavor and background.

For example, a description might explain what kind of rifles it’s usually paired with, or what situations it’s best suited for.

Not a gun guy, so I'll absolutely defer to them if they come up with something better, but ideas for "knock-off" names from the top of my head (leaving parts of the name blank because they seem to have something to do with the manufacturer or use cases and I don't know anything about that):


1: MyoTech voodoo
(vudu sounds like voodoo, might be too similar to get away with, and Myo due to EOTech->EO -> Eocene -> Myocene -> Myo ->Myotech)

2: ___ Juliet ___
(referencing Romeo and Juliet)

3: Downsight __ (aimpoint->aiming at a point means looking downsight)

4: Downsight _____ (same as above, but aero or nast appended, acro -> acrobatics->in the air (aero) or gymnastics (nast))

5: ___ Barlow
(really not a good name, but it sounds similar)

6: MyoTech _____
(Same idea at least for the manufacturer, but I have nothing for the model name)

7: [any of Lodewijk, Filips, or Victor] Mallet
(leupold->leopold II->full name *Leopold Lodewijk Filips Maria Victor*->any of the options, I'm partial to victor, sounds like a guna ccessory manufacturer would too, since it sounds cool) (Mallet cause its similar to a hammer)
