Controller Support

Blade Symphony only has paritial controller support, this means that if you play using a controller you won't be able to navigate the in-game menus. You will only be able to control your character in-game.
To get the controller to function properly in-game you will need to do the following things:
  • Bring up the developer console (default binding is F10).
  • Enter "unbindall" into the console. Note: This will remove all the key bindings for Blade Symphony.
  • Then enter "exec config_joy_default" in order to get it to work.

Tip:

To search for your own player statistics click the Ladder ranking and rating link and search for you name in the top right corner of the page.

Bro, you need to update your guide. It still has 'Foil' instead of 'Rapier' and the properties of Katana and Longsword are outdated.:tgrin:

This should have a section about the steam validation bug, hopefully that will stop some of the threads. Sure would be nice if people would use the search :/

I'm just going to create and pin a thread about it. That way players can stop making a new topic every time it ocurs and just reply to that one, and I can also use it to gather information on the bug.

So i tried to set my controller for this game, and suprise, it didnt work. I looked for help in topics, but there was no solution. so after using method of trails and error i got it right. decided to share it in case any1 else got same problems. i will be using some information from other topics, coz they were needed, but in the end not enough alone.

1) Copy and paste the following into a blank notepad document and save the file as joystick.cfg

2) Copy the file intoSteam\steamapps\common\Blade Symphony\berimbau\cfg
3) To excute the config bring up the console in-game and type in exec joystick.cfg and it should load the config
