in the meantime I've managed to resolve this situation, but now I'm in the game, I choose the job, but almost at the end of loading the game crashes.

Be sure you have Windows managing the Page File Size set to "Automatic" and not to any specific value. Without seeing the logs, the only bit of info you've included is the error code at the time of the crash, which is a memory access violation.

Probably best to wait a few days. The update will probably break Promods and Workshop mods. The update doesn't really add anything.

I just purchased ATS and some of the Map DLC so will play that unmodded for a while as it's as good if not better than ETS. ATS 1.55 is running good too. Real Companies and Gas Stations Workshop mod is also up to date for 1.55.

I'm going to do the same. Promods has red warnings on their site telling people to stay on 1.54 for now. Have a great weekend :)

i don't get it! now that i've gone back to 1.54, i get too much lag when i'm passing through cities.
before i tried 1.55, and with 1.54, it wasn't like this. can anyone explain why?

If your setting are too high then you will run out of VRAM. Newer cities require more than 4GB VRAM in high settings.

thanks for your reply, but until yesterday I tried to update to 1.55 and it didn't work, I went back to what I had before 1.54 and it always worked fine with the settings at maximum.
my setup is this:
SO: WINDOWS 10 PRO
CPU: AMD RYZEN 7 2700X, OCTACORE
GPU: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX1650 4Gb
RAM: 24Gb
MB: GIGABYTE AORUS B450 PRO
I've always run it with the graphics quality at maximum, and I've never had this lagging problem.
