It's mostly the same as the classic games.

One gameplay upgrade is the ability to play both Encounters as if it was a single game (finish FE, and start playing SE without going back to the menu).

It also has technical upgrades, such as 64-bit support and Steamworks (leaderboards, achievements and the Workshop) integration.

The game overall seems to preform better (for some reason?) and it supports modern resolutions. Also the horrible mouse input lag from the classics is now fixed. Mouse aiming feels very responsive.

I don't remember mouse inout lag?

I think Revolution supports mapping features that were lost in the High Definition remakes, like the bit where a cylindrical room spins like a washing machine, and the beginning of the first level with the weather effects, I think those were missing in HD as well.
Thank you all, I was just wondering about this.
Its original games but re constructed again and partly messed up. The leaderboards don't work, mechanics like rocket jumps have been messed up. Play them standalone to enjoy play Revolutions only for Bright Island added fan campaign or survival. The achievements grind is a let down though.
