How to launch the game after 2.6 if you have a 32-bit system
Hello everyone!

We've made some changes so it should now be possible to revert to the 2.5 build as a Legacy Beta if you have a 32-bit system (2.6 is 64-bit only):

In your Steam Library, Right-Click on the game and choose “Properties”
Click on the Beta Tab
Choose the 2.5 (eg. bgee_2.5) in the drop down menu
If you don't see the 2.5 in the drop down menu, please restart Steam
Install it
In-game, on the main menu, you will see that the build is 2.5.X

Let us know if this works.

Thank you for making it possible for players to play on a 32 bit system. As for me on a laptop it works.
Does multiplayer still work with people on the new 2.6 version?

I would imagine everyone needs the same version to multiplayer
Best to re-install Windows as 64-bit then, not really a solution out there for 32 bit players.

I can't launch the game at all since 2.6 released whether 2.5 or 2.6 or any versions for that matter. Installed & reinstalled game multiple times & verified integrity of game files but to no avail.

I have tried all of the above steps and my laptop still will not play this game. I hadn't played in a while. I have an Aspire 5 if that helps.
You will have to give more information than that, what happens when you run the game?

I have Windows 11. I launched the game and it said it was missing OpenAL32.dll.

So I look here and follow the instructions. I run the oalist.exe installer from the download link. Now there is no error message, but Baldur.exe still fails to launch.

It worked thanks Julius! I know this isn't the topic but are you planning to release any/more updates soon?
