The debug console command is still CTRL+Space though for me.
I copied your comment from the other page. Might be nice to start the 2.0 version in a new thread that starts with a spiffy guide.
Only thing I picked up that changed was that 'CLUAConsole:<item>' is now 'C:<item>'.
I'm not sure it matters. Make sure though you've closed the game completely before editing and saving the lua, otherwise it won't work.
It doesn't really matter, but for the sake of cleanliness, it would be best to put a new line after the last Program Options entry and add it there.
1. Create a backup of the Baldur.lua located in the Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition folder before making any changes
2. Open Baldur.lua (Notepad is built in and is fine. Other options include Notepad++ and Sublime text editors)
3. Add the following line to the end of the Balder.lua file: SetPrivateProfileString('Program Options','Debug Mode','1')
4. Start Game
5. CTRL+Space Bar
After you close the game and check your baldur.lua again, is the line for debug mode still there?
Or, do you see something happening when you use ctrl-j? Your characters should move to your cursor location with that one.
Have you remapped keys that include the space?
Could Dragonspear make any difference?
