Bug in trying to kill Coldhearth the lich
Hi and right to the point I have the box droped it onto the fire portal and it disappears and then I kill him again yet he keeps appearing and I cannot leave the dungeon. I use the stone 2 times after yet he keeps appearing? Can someone tell me if I have done this right. Or have a save near that point in the game and try the fight as at th emoment it looks bugged. Thanks in advance for any help given.

Doh I tried one last time all good typical have to click on portal twice which destorys the box. I was dropping it and presumed since it disappeared that it done its job Grrrrrr

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I've had nothing but pain with this stupid quest. I've destroyed the phylactery, and all that happens is the lich turns invisible, permanently, although with his infinite sequencer spells, his protections surround him and launch cloudkill/web spells at us. I can't leave.

In which order? Why don't you defeat him while somebody takes the phylactery, then you've got enough time to take the phylactery to the fire circle where to destroy it.

To be clear you have to click on the portal twice with it IN YOUR INVENTORY. I guess I didn't read clear enough. Spent an hour ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with this stupid thing. I was trying to drop it on the ground and then click the portal
