OK sorted out the problem - find the folder where all the backups are i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\XXXXXX\228380\local\wreckfest and delete it.

the game has loaded when it asked to restore from cloud I said no way! It worked.

This the window that will popup when you restart Wreckfest, pick the Upload from PC option.

But if have progress some in Wreckfest, LVL 10 and don't want lose progress, make a copy of the \228380\local\wreckfest folder before deleting the main one.

If Wreckfest is working again but you are at level 1, can copy these 3 files from the copy you made into the new \228380\local\wreckfest folder:

career
cars
playerinventory2

There is no progress in the game because I just bought it and am launching it for the first time

Is this Steam PC version or PC Gamepass version of Wreckfest?

I noticed something though, my user name is pontuated. "Filipe Sá"
[2:31 PM]
So the folder is Filipe Sá
[2:31 PM]
but, Wreckfest creates a different one because of the sign i guess.
