Mod to let AI drive my owned cars? (Or, define specific configs/customizations for an AI set?)
I've got a few cars I've tuned that I'd like to pit against each other (and maybe get some screenshots too), but there's no way to tell the AI to use my cars when creating a custom event. (The "Same as Player" option only makes the AI choose the same vehicle I select, but keeps the random customization and tuning.) Is there a way through modding to make a custom AI set that pulls (or just copies) my specific owned cars?

For example, if I've tuned and painted a MudDigger a certain way, is there a mod or something that would let me tell the AI to choose (or copy) that specific MudDigger, paint and all?

Edit: Another way to put it would be that I want to make an AI set with specific tuning and customization setups for each car in the set, instead of just saying "pick this type of vehicle and do whatever" like the default ones do.

Yes, you can. Except for the DLC cars. DLC cars limit your options and you have to get tricky to make even a few changes to the AI's parts. Changing skins for AI DLC cars is no problem, though.

You'd have to list every part that you wanted for the AI cars. I don't know of any way to copy your owned cars directly to an AI profile.

The file that defines each part that an AI car uses is a .cavs file. There are a few other AI files that are also needed for doing things like letting the game know which cars you want in your custom AI set, or telling the game that one of the AI cars should use that custom parts list that you made or a specific skin.

The .cavs files are sort of zipped up in the Wreckfest game files now. You will probably have to go to the Wreckfest Discord and get the unzipped version of the game files so that you can get copies of those .cavs files so that you can make some custom ones for your mod.

The files got sort of zipped up to make the game load faster.
