Not really, I mean, I can see how you'd get that f you hear about the use light to defeat dark thing but very far from being a reskin of any horror or dark game out there.

But if we are talking "use light to defeat dark" combat then would you say Metro 2033 is an Alan Wake clone as well? It has monsters that you need to defeat with flashlights and nazis/russians (like Deadfall), but it's also got more of a horror/survival element to it which Deadfall does not. In which case, I'd say it would be closer to Alan Wake than Deadfall :)

If anything, I'd say the game is alot closer to a first person reskin of Uncharted or old Tomb Raider games, the main focus is on puzzle solving and exploration in Egyptian/treasure filled scenes after all.

What I really think of when I play this game is The Mummy movie with Brandon Fraser lol I'm loving this game so far.

Just my opinion though.
