I can't crouch

so im playing it on my comuter with xbox 360 wired controller and in the very beginning i'm trying to crouch under some rock and says press "L" but i've been doing that and it won't let me. I've even tried switching the default controls on the controller options but it doens't help

If you're still stuck on this, first thing I'd try would be to disable Steam Input (Properties>Controller>Disable Steam Input). If that didn't work, then I'd enable Steam Input, then I'd use Steam Controller Configurator to map crouch/duck (Left Control) to (L). One of those should work, but if they didn't then the next thing I'd do is probably swear and maybe kick something. Hope that helps.
