360 Controller doesn't work

For some reason, I start up the game but my xbox 360 controller doesn't work. It works with all other games I have but it doesn't work at all with this one. I've hunted through settings but found nothing. I can even open up the steam big picture overlay with the middle button in game. Anyone else had this problem?

Use the X360CE app and place with the game.exe. It is a 32 bit game so make sure you run the 32 bit X360CE. THis lets me use my Xbox One Controller with no problems.
