Stuck Mayan City

So Im at the part where I'm supposed to take the skeleton head off of one skeleton and put it on the other and it opens a swinging door, which it does, but then 6 blades come out and block the door and I still can't progress, I'm stuck in this area, the only thing I can do is take the skeleton head back to its original owner but that does nothing. What am I missing here? O_O The walkthroughs Ive looked at say once you swap the heads the door should just open and says nothing about blades blocking the way... help?

very simple, you take the skull front of you and at your left you can see another skull on the floor, take it and replace the first by this one. The left blades will be retracted and you could get out.
