I agree that it is bugged. I found YouTube videos the show a different scenario. Unfortunatly, your solution doesn't work for me either. I tried first stepping on the Bull and the Dog.She always steps on the deer. When you write "sarcophagus", did you mean the sitting pharoah statue? I don'tt see a sarcophagus I can shoot while standing on the middle (Bull) piece

I restarted that level and got the same results. I think I know what you mean about the sarcophagus now. It is directly opposite the moving statue when standing on the bull

Standing right next to the switch is a statue type thing... Inside of it is a mummy that falls out, onto the switch.

Its not bugged!
When you enter that room, kill the enemy soldiers, then step on the right platoform. Stay on it until, your partner step on to the left platform. After that shoot the sarcophagus(coffin) next to you(next to the right platform), and a mummy will fall on your platform. Then step on the middle platform, and stay on it until the door opens. This works me all the time, never had any problem with this.

Youtube videos could be tricky because the developers changed that puzzle a few weeks ago, so if you see a video, that may from the older version.

I got the problem as well, I kiled the enemies, the girl stepped on left block, me on the one in the middle and then mummy, but nothing happened. After that I loaded last checkpoint and it worked. Buggy for me...

Until now (antarcticta) I did not find another annoying nightmare :)

have the same issue. THX with the tip with shooting sarcophagues. Didn't saw any of them but will look for it next time.
@Nocturne: It hase top be a bug, because the note in the game says, you have to start with the bull, than with the deer, and the dog is the last plate! Maybe the devs have changed some things in the game, but thay have to take care of the little tooltips to to be changed. :)

Yup bugged. I finally past after long stuck...it kill my fun smooth game...

no it is not bugged, just shoot the sarcophagus and the mummy (dead) will press the pressure plate...either shoot it from the middle platform or shoot it before, doesn't matter.

I'm sure it is bugged! When you press the plates in the wrong order, or run across them too quickly the statue may move farther back than it should. If that happens the door won't open even when all three plates are pressed at the same time. I don't know exactly what triggers it, but I had to restart the puzzle multiple times before I finally got it right.

hmhmhm that can be true. before seeing the mummy sarcophagus, I was messing around with the pressure plates and sometimes the statue would move sometimes not, and also not in the same length everytime...so I could not understand that i was doing it actually the wrong way....was behaving a bit strangely before I found the mummy corpse.

Because its not antarctica. Antarctica is the south pole, but the level in the game is at north pole.
