A "why" would be nice.

Also bought it from the Humble Store (not from a bundle, this was a standalone purchase).
I heard about keys expiring or not being redeemable in recent Humble purchases right after they updated their TOS, so they might have something to do with it.
I sent a support ticket through to Humble, and also tried to reach out to both THQ Nordic and The Farm 51 on socials. Will see what comes back I guess.
Having had this happen to about half a dozen games I got from bundles over the years, the chain of events as I understand it is typically:
Step 1. Developers sometimes want to invalidate old batches of unredeemed keys, either for the sake of preemptive security (an invalidated key can't get leaked & sold on the grey market), or because they discover that said batch has already been compromised in a data breach.
Step 2. Said devs don't realize that Steam only lets them invalidate the entire batch of keys (afaik they don't get to pick "only invalidate the unredeemed ones", "don't invalidate them if they were redeemed before the date the batch got stolen", or etc).
(You are here) Step 3. The devs click the "kill that batch" button thinking it's just going to kill unredeemed keys, unintentionally invalidating the keys of dozens/hundreds of legitimate customers in the process.
Step 4. Most of the time the dev realizes the mistake pretty quickly and posts an announcement on Steam about it. They then either get Steam's help to reinstate the keys without you the user having to do anything about it, or they ask for you to send proof-of-purchase (ex. your receipt from Humble, which is accessible from your Humble account iirc) to a support email so that they can email you back a new key.
If you find that a game that you've redeemed has disappeared from your Steam library, it is possible that the order was reported to us as fraudulent or that a payment dispute was filed on the order. When this happens, we deactivate any titles that were purchased on the reported order and remove them from your Steam Library until we can resolve the issue.
You may receive a notification similar to the one below:

This can happen when our customers purchase Humble Bundle content from third-party trading sites. We are unable to guarantee the legitimacy of any purchases made through these sources and are unable to assist in conflict resolution between the parties or provide new keys in cases of fraud. We recommend only making purchases directly from Humble Bundle to avoid possible issues such as this.
If you've disputed a payment through your payment processor, your order may have become inactive until the dispute is resolved. We recommend reaching out to us directly for a refund request before filing payment disputes. We're happy to work with you to find a resolution!
If you have questions about why your games are missing from your Steam Library, please contact our Humble Support team so that our Customer Support Ninjas can assist you.

Welcome to gaming in 2025. This is why buying things is pointless.
