My name is Zyddie, I'm the Head of Community Management at THQ Nordic, we have JUST been made aware of this issue and we are looking into it asap.
//Zyddie
That should NEVER happen with any of our games, I'm so sorry you had to go through that, as said we are looking into this asap and hopefully have a solution equally as fast.
//Zyddie
This is the second time in my life as Steam user with a game revoked. The first was Castle of Illusion in January 2017, but it was solved.
Open an issue with Humble Store Support.
just some words on this matter: This issue (only Deadfall Adventures Deluxe Edition should be affected by this issue, not the Standard Edition) happened due to some efforts over the last couple of months to get back big stocks of unused/unsold keys and deactivate them. Valve wants us to limit the unused keys stocks out there and Humblebundle, because of big key shipments for past bundles (sometimes decades ago), is the #1 source of unused/unsold keys stock. We have already deactivated millions of unused keys however this time, it seems that Humblebundle has mistakenly und unfortunately sent us keys, which were already in use. We informed them about that issue and have sent them new Deadfall Adventures Deluxe Edition keys for their customer support. So in case you see your Humblebundle Deadfall Adventures Deluxe Edition Steam key has been revoked, you should find a new code to redeem in your Humble library:
From Humblebundle:
To this end, we have asked (and received) an entirely new batch of keys from THQ Nordic for Deadfall Adventures, and have "reset" the key in your Humble library. If you navigate to your library, you can take this new code and redeem that on Steam to return Deadfall Adventures to your library.
If not, please contact Humblebundle Support (https://support.humblebundle.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) and you should get a new key (as long as you have purchased it on Humblebundle in the past).
Sorry for the inconvenience
Your THQ Nordic Team
"THQ flipping the blame back onto Humble" was not on my bingo card, but given some of the dumb problems I've had with my Humble purchases in the past I can totally see this being their fault.
Seems both contributed to this mess. Id reckon processes need to be tightened on both ends. :)
EDIT: I managed to get a replacement key that worked. Just search for Deadfall in your Humble library and refresh the window. Any used key should disappear and the Reveal Key link should return. Hopefully that key will work for youse all as well.
Hmm I'll have to check again.
Am I understanding this correctly, you are deactivating codes that you have sold just because they are not being used?
Will you refund the money? Or will you keep the money, even though you have "stolen" the goods you sold?
Because there is a difference between deactivating codes that you had and did not sell to anyone, and deactivating codes that you sold, simply because the person who bought them is exercising their right to do with them as they see fit. Including not using them.
I have some multiplayer games purchased in 2014 that are like this. Either an unsuitable gift, or I was looking for someone to play multiplayer with, but no one was interested. But I paid for them and I consider it immoral that you have my money, but I don't have what I paid for..
How is it possible that you do this?
