Question about treasures

So, at the very beginning of the game, I found a treasure map - but some of the treasures seem nowhere to be found in the areas indicated on the map. I looked it up on youtube, and treasure #1 beneath the small tarp down the stairs behind where you step out of the jeep is not appearing in my game. Actually, the tarp itself isn't there either, just a piece of wood.

I've reloaded and restarted the game, started new files with different difficulties to no avail.

Anyone have any idea why?

Have you tried using the compass? If you are near treasure the needle stops spinning and points towards the nearest treasure.

I have bro, and it just continues to spin, even standing right where the treasure should be. I'm sure I'm at the right spot - but instead of a small tarp with a relic underneather, there's just a wooden pallet.

If you already picked up that treasure on a previous gameplay, it won't be there anymore. Just if you start a new game.

This all occurred in my very first moments of the game - I actually never picked up that treasure. The game is also showing it as undiscovered.

This is also happening when I start a new game.

I have found the treasure location. The first treasure on XBOX 360 was under the tarp down the stairs but on PC has since been moved. After dispatching the Arabs you continue up the stairs into the building where you will receive a popup talking about hidden treasures. (How ironic) You then turn immediately to your right and move to the far corner on the left. There is a circular basket that enquires you open it. Inside is our lost treasure. No idea why the devs made this move but they did. Also when you start and head all the way down both stairs to the left there is a guy resting on a tarp with a pickaxe. Once you receive your guns if you head back he will no longer be there anymore.
