Linux Issues
Thank you, Deadfall developers, for supporting Linux. I have come across some issues in my short time with the game.

1) Load times are extremely long. It takes several minutes for the game to start.

2) Some combination of buttons (or maybe just pressing B?) on a controller brings up a circle with four different icons. Once this is on screen, I can't do anything. The game isn't frozen, I just can't navigate the ring menu or exit it, even with a keyboard/mouse. I have to force quit the game to get rid of it.

Has this improved in the last almost a year and a half? I bought the game on sale, it looks nice, but it was Linux support that sealed the deal.

Confirming number 1.

Nope, my understanding is that the developers abandoned this game a long time ago.

I just get a black screen after the splash, then after a minute it just crashes to desktop.

I played and finished the Linux version a few weeks ago with no issues. First run load time was very long but that was a one time thing.

Hello!
I have found solution for this error. You need to edit the ADVGame.sh file on the games's folder (/home/<youruser>/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Deadfall Adventures)
Search for line
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:. $DEBUGGER ./$BINARY -seekfreeloadingpcconsole $@
And add the /usr/bin directory to it.
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/usr/bin:. $DEBUGGER ./$BINARY -seekfreeloadingpcconsole $@
