I have about 180+ hours playing the various versions so far. Ver 2.2 is the worst (for me) that I have played. At almost 300 people The Astari started having Festivals. Each festival takes between 50 to 60 people happiness tanks. There is no belief getting generated to do anything. I finally got enough gems to get a fountain and placed it in the center of the population. The city has never generated a farmer (well it has bu he went to occupy one of the nearby empty homes left by the exodus. The houses take hours to get back to normal and the festival is every hour. This seems impossible to recover from.

If I couldn't get my happiness up, I thought maybe I could lower theirs. I used Finger of God to burn down their festival (which I was surprised I was allowed to do). It went up in spectacular fashion, their happimess plummeted. It didn't last long. It recovered nearly back to the top. I tried burning the place down again. It wouldn't work a second time. First time using Finger of God during the festival resulted in the destruction after the festival was over. The second time I tried it while the festival was not taking place and I could touch/kill people but nothing else (the buildings were uneffected and the trees had already burnt. Strikes me as inconsistent so this must be a bug.

PS DAMN! while typing this I lost another 55 followers! This leaves 317. They again emptied all of the houses surrounding the city. The farming city was effected and the timers reset again so I again didn't get a farmer. I'm thinking I'm done with ver 2.2. Overall your progress has been wonderful!
