Delete Buildings
So I decided to load up the game and see if there was any real progress. Haven't notice much improvement, just a few UI changes.

Anyhow more to the point. Is there still no way to remove buildings? Because this has to be one of the stupidest design decisions I've ever seen. Imagine SimCity where you could never move or bulldoze a poorly placed building. Now combine that with the world’s ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ UI where the AI decides what to build and where.

So I’m trying to get back into the game to see the progress and I have the Rank 2 Abodes unlocked. Except how the Building spot outline is practically invisible, at least before it was easy to see. So I’m trying to collect belief from my villagers and mistakenly click on a building which causes the builder to come out and build a rank 1 abode in a spot where I was trying to clear room to allow for a rank 2. I’ve tried to stop builders once they come out with leash but they go back to trying to build after you move them to a far off spot. And if the spot is removed by terraforming I’ve seen them try to go to a different plot.

The result is you need to make sure you have NO buildable land around you at any time to ensure they don’t mistakenly build something you don’t want. I recall this issue before when I last played almost a year ago and had the rank 3 abodes but when moving the land I always had to be careful as a rank 3 plot are could easily be split into 2 rank 1 spot so it was tricky to keep no spots open until I wanted to expand without wasting lost of belief on terraforming.

you can "delete" buildings with the finger of god power, just hit it a few times.

I agree they should of made buildings place-able but I think they were going for a (populous autobuild) hands off non-micromanager god over black and white kind (place-able buildings, which I prefer).

Even so, it's been a while since I played Populous but I recall you can remove buildings in that game too. Sure it's not the hands on like B&W was but it was simply expand to larger section of land or remove land under a building and it would automatically upgrade or get destroyed depending on what was called for. Here they are locked in place as you can't sculpt the land after building is on it like you could in populous.

I'll have to work up to the hand of god power to see if it works. Any idea what population I need to reach for that? I don't recall seeing it on the card list but I can look for it.

Sorry probably been a year since I got that card, but I don't think it took to long to get.
