"Exit" Power

Was using Finger of God - tried to deactivate it by clicking the x on the Finger of God card in the lower left corner and clicked the center of my ore settlement by accident. Super annoying. Grindy waity times ahead. Not good.
Is there a key to "exit" powers? Workers starting to build before you can sculpt holes so they dont build the crap you don't want them to are also super annoying.

Having to wait for FoG to timeout aside (a problem for sure)... The builders immeadiately rebuilding before you can adjust the settlement is incredibly fustrating. Wait for hours, grind for belief, build up reserves, and fight your 'followers' as you try to upgrade their abodes and settlements. Typically i end up having to FoG multiple times until the whole area is rocks, then slowly remove the rocks as i direct specific builds slowly.
