Introducing Access to Developer Builds
Something that we know the community has been requesting regularly is the ability to test the very latest builds of the game, even when those builds aren't quite ready for an official release. So I'm very happy to announce that we will now be offering the community access to our most frequently updated builds of the game for you to test, try out, and break. We feel that this will empower you, the community, to provide even more feedback by taking part in the ongoing development of GODUS more easily and more frequently.

How to Opt In to Developer Builds
If you'd like to participate in our regularly released developer builds, just follow the easy instructions below.
  • Go to your Steam Library
  • Right click on GODUS and select "Properties"
  • Click on the "Betas" tab
  • Enter your beta access code, which is ‘22canstester'
  • Click "Check Code"
  • Click on the dropdown menu and make sure “releasetest” is selected
  • Hit "Close" and you're all set

The Community's Access Password
This password will allow you to access the most recent development builds of the game. Using the instructions above, this password will give you immediate access.

Password: 22canstester

Additional Information
The timing of how often these updates get released will vary day to day, but by and large they'll be very frequent and will allow us to push out specific changes and bug fixes immediately rather than waiting for one large official update to come out weeks at a time. This will allow you to participate in the very latest builds of the game if you choose to do so. Don't fancy taking part in the wild and potentially unstable world of developer builds? That's totally fine too. We'll continue to release regular official updates weeks at a time, but for anyone interested in taking part in the development process in between these official updates we wanted to make sure we gave you the option to do so.

It is my hope, as well as the hope of everyone else at 22Cans, that opening up access to these developer builds will give the community the ability to give immediate feedback on the most recent development changes, ranging from bugs to gameplay mechanics to everything in between. As always, there's many other ways we want to empower the players in the future and this is but one of many ways we're going to start doing that.
