Minor hacking rivers and springs in Weyworld
Hi,

I'm asking you if you have tinkered w springs and rivers in Weyworld?

This is just my 2nd post to Godus group and the whole Steam community at all. Sorry my any possible ignorance about unwritten social codes and bad english, I've tried to make my homework how to write to Steam.

I like to modify Godus environment as aesthetic way, which is very questionable term and there is such a definitive thing ;) For example, I like to have much more tree options to create than just a birch and I make water ponds in the cost of optimize buildings and inhabitants.

I was very pleased to notice that in Weyworld - or in new major release - it is possible to modify springs and rivers. And after finishing 2nd release w 3700 ore beacon, I started to experiment w water springs on the mountains.

The major thing to get longer water streams, but just a start, is to make lower terrains below the original spring. Basically waterfall should appear after getting the area of the stream under one terrain level below basic sand ground or terrain level "one".

So far, I've managed to split one spring to five waterfalls and divided some almost flat and dry rivers to almost a canal system like in Amsterdam, like in Astari Temple 2 w 2 fields.

Have you fiddled with springs? It seems that there is some kind of basic strength volume or highness pressure bar w every spring, how much they can burst water (which is divided w streams), but on the other hand, it is possible to divide the number of waterfalls in lower layers of the terrain of the original spring. Meaning, that you can burst some waterfalls from higher, but more in lower level measured in "ground" terrain level.

Secondly, it seems possible to modify rivers (imburstihg from springs) quite a lot, but the basic idea in 22cans seems to be, that rivers should be quite narrow. If Ur river is suddenly drying, just find some layers which are to broad.

It takes a bit time to control springs, and I dunno all the mechanisms yet, but basically they are quite modifiable in Wayworld. And it works in Homewolrd also. I've managed to recover some Homeworld rivers also, at least a bit.

Somehow I managed to transfer the place of one spring from mountain to another near Astari empty Temple are :) With playing layers and their respective inter relational area.
