Suggestions to change the way voyages work
To everyone at 22cans, especially Mr Molyneux - The voyages ruin the game, they are not fun and feel like a chore. We are forced into doing them as without doing so limits our chances to unlock the cards, every moment doing these is an extra moment of increasing boredom. Please change the way the voyages work, I understand you put a lot of time and effort into these but they are not fun at all.

To the players - If you add to this post please do not just say agree or disagree, add what you would like to see in place of them, what would make voyages fun for you. If you do like them, say why you like the voyages the way they are now. The more information they get from this, especially if there are more haters for the voyagers, there is the slightest chance they may be reworked or changed completely.

What I would like - I used to like the deathmatches in the first versions of the game, not the chat box that came with it though with that weird social network thing when npcs asked you for a match. I would much prefer the deathmatches to what we have now, at least they were fun. If not this idea then how about adding more professions such as fisherman and baker and whatever else you like. The voyages could now be little tiny islands enough for 1 settlement. You choose the profession for this, depending on what cards you may have unlocked, and they give you extra resources every now and again, some could be stickers, some could be gems and whatever else based on profession. This in turn leads 22cans into giving us more options, more cards, more stickers, a little bit of strategy and much more. One of these cards could be an option to let us have a little island based on double agents who join the astari and keeps a certain percentage of their happiness from growing, especially when we are offline which could be when they work their best.

Please leave a message below, the more they get the more they may take notice that voyages are total garbage and not fun at all right now.

I have mixed feelings. They were terrible before, but much improved in the current version. The #1 thing I hated was the all or nothing success/failure, which they have addressed fairly well.

The best thing they could do IMO is make maps with lots of enemies, piles of belief, and let you go hog wild with FoG, swamps, meteors, etc. Now that would be really fun. You just don't get to use the destructive powers at all any more, so what's the point of even having them?

So while six months ago, I would have agreed with you about how bad they were, I do see a potential light at the end of the tunnel and a feeling they could be made to work and work well, instead of scrapping them entirely.

Bashful, thank you for wording your feedback in a polite and constructive way. If I may however, I would like to give you a small bit of advice regarding the title of this post.

Steam community rules strictly prohibit petition posts, so it might be a good idea to change the word "petition" to "Suggestion" or something similar so that a Steam mod doesn't look at the title and auto-lock this thread.

Agamemnon, I know 100% for certain that 22Cans do indeed take on every bit of feedback given by the community. And while it isn't possible or feasible to make every suggestion a reality for the game, constructive feedback is always taken seriously by the team. Peter said as much in the 6th Q&A video that he and Jack did.

Sorry Muir, I try to take the rules very seriously but honestly never knew we could not use the word petition. I never meant any offense and have changed it :)

Don't worry about it, no offence caused. Your post is a fantastic example of the type of constructive feedback Peter talked about in the 6th Q&A video. Thank you again.
Well, tell me then, Muir:

Why has 22cans not reacted to the plethora of criticism regarding waitwalls, grinding mini-missions and linear progression, lack of strategy, lack of depth and lack of story in any meaningful way?

Sure, we have a BFE now, that allows to condense the thinly spread gameplay time into a more condensed experience. (Seriously? First we pay you money, then we have to balance the game Ourselves?!) But even a condensed fart is still a fart, if you'll allow me that metaphor. And adding sprinkles to it will not change the fact that the underlying principle of mobile-centered waitplay is inherently broken und will never be well received by PC gamers in general und the kickstarter backers especially.

Instead I get the impression that every time, those issues are brought up, the CMs go silent, close the thread and ban the OP.
