Personally, I'm against the omnicidal rage my godly persona seems to possess when it comes to anything !Follower, and even then not all followers are totally safe. Aside from the (in)frequent festivals to "win" the Astari over, is there any way you can diplomatically take them over without the bloodshed? I'm a traditional diplomat and while I'm perfectly capable of meteoring the ♥♥♥♥ out of Astariville, it just seems a little disappointing for the people I've spent all game defending against. This said, the Astari raiding mechanic makes AFK play inoptimal at best, as the Astari have taken me from 300+ with two farming settlements to 30 and no settlements due to me having gone AFK for abt 3 hrs.

What I'm suggesting is that there is consideration into:
A) A feature to bribe/gift the Astari food instead of murderificating them when the raiders approach
B) A feature to bribe/gift the Astari in the Astariville settlement in order to slowly provide cultural superiority.
C) A feature to allow for me to take over the Astari without wiping them out, as I rather like their little sprites and settlements, they're cute. :c

It's a feature in the game Spore that you can always bribe, then betray, then bribe again to make them forgive you. I was hoping that if this feature was ever implimented, this sort of fluidity would be taken into account. I would also like to see the Astari attempt to either settle my lands or lands near to theirs, as my nation is massive by the time it's even REACHED Astariville.
