One step forward but two back
I like the new build, I like that gems can be used to upgrade powers now, but there are just so many problems right now...

First, voyages. I completed and got all the rewards from my first voyage... and now can't do any. How long do I have to wait? I don't know, I have no way of knowing.

Happyness decay is extremely annoying. I planeted so many trees only to have it drop by the time the festival happened that I see no point in planting them anymore, they aren't helping.

Beautify is obviously the best way to make happyness, but it's buried just too deep that the rough terrain that blocks you near the begining and the SWAMP placed at one of the beacons prevents me from straight expanding outward.

I can't gather gems, I'm not getting any new chest spawns in areas I can effect, I have no voyages, and sacrificing for gems would simply drop my happyness into a pit that I would have to turn around and spend the gems to restore and it's just a mess.

At the very least PLEASE make more voyages available at the start (like last build) or make them not take a week to place a new one in.

Also, please allow an option to put timers back in place instead of percentages.

Try changing the balance files in the menu. Give yourself more belief from the abodes.

Use meteors/finger if God on the Astari City at festival time, wipe them out or save just 1(from burning).

So you then either have a cultural victory(last one converts) where you get their settlement and can sculpt there village.

Or if you killed them all you can't sculpt near their village.

Either way, say bye bye to the happiness bar, it's no longer needed.

Oh and personally I prefer the % timers, meh each to their own ;)

The balance file changing (which always locks up the game for me) shouldn't be the solution

It is if the balance is wrong and 22cans have not released a good balance yet.

I haven't had this problem, and i'm not sure the pit drops your happyness to far. Try using some of the gifts like fountains or trees of joy. They cost gems but as a long term investment they are really good
