Yep. They finally stopped work Dec 2018 on the ios version. Then added holiday stuff, new ventures, etc. I don't own it here because I have it on ios. They probably continued on that platform due to the in app purchases you could buy. They probably realized the PC community wouldn't tolerate buying the game AND making in app purchases. So I bet they dumped all work on the PC game.

Androids even got an update as late as May 2019.

They REALLY screwed over the PC/Steam version of the game and just abandoned entirely. It's a shame because they actually fixed a lot of the issues with it over on ios/android.

Steam really should shut down the PC version because it won't be updated any longer. This is no longer early access, it's DEAD.

The company kind of still exists as they can still collect money for the game - which is fine for ios, but imo it's fraud to collect money for the steam version still with no plans to finish it properly.
