Like... I know this game is dead, I finished it (tech tree and final island) like 5 times. I keep installing it again, starting from the beginning, building a checkerboard-based civilization, then just a blob of whatever, terrace farms, massive island-bridges...

Why do I keep coming back to this game? And why is it making me even more pissed to see they are doing updates for mobile that both CAN'T BE PLAYED OFFLINE and is MASSIVELY reliant on microtransactions to get the settlements, statues and spells to fully upgrade.

WHY do I keep coming back? Why can't I just let this game die?
