Why are you randomly locking and deleting threads?
I know its not random but this isnt tidying up its a step away from buldozing the structure.

I am referring to unanswered posts that are simply being locked or deleted with no explanation for example...

I asked why the dev logs are in the 22cans discussion board and it was moved, without a response. I started the thread again and it was deleted, at about the same time you locked The Lets ask peter questions thread, which also has no responses.

I think the joking about you guys trying to harvest the striesand effect may be on to something because all I see is bad moderation practices throwing more fuel on a burning fire.

It isn't random. It is a cry for help, though. Does the UK health care cover the terminal condition of PR suckicide?
I wish I could be paid for sucking at my job. I'd be a billionaire right now.

Yep, the way they're reacting is like a serious case of deja-vu for me. If only the "games media" were so tough on all such bad behaviour.

I assume they're doing it because that's what their new PR recruit suggested and they suggested that course of action because they don't actually have a clue what they're doing... But hey, they were cheap.... Cheaper than getting a programmer in, to actually help get the game made, which would do a hell of a lot more for PR. That's just how 22Cans functions though, the only company in history that thinks the best thing for public relations is all-points aphasia.

Who's the new "pr" person? I suggest they should talk to samvt, george and matthew for some pointers. Even though communication sucked last year at least it was professional.

That would only apply if they still wanted to make a real game. This isn't as much PR as it's 'damage control'.

I'm amazed at how quickly the mods have replied to this thread in particular.

Well, Sam, Matthew and George were Community Managers, the new person has been hired as a company wide PR, one would assume as a direct result of 22Cans behavior landing them in the toilet, PR wise, recently.
I also think that the new PR persons main role will be to get the company to be able to abandon Godus, with the least amount of public outcry as possible, by the summer. As such, we'll probably start to see articles pop up, once or twice a month now, about what a difficult time they're having making Godus, how a million different factors have prevented them from fulfilling their Kickstarter/EA pitch (none of which are their fault), what a wonderful and talented guy Peter Molyneux is and probably, how everyone from Kickstarter will get a free bag of gems, to use in the The Trail, as and when it comes out. I'd also expect a whole bunch more really happy customers to start showing up on the Steam forum and any conversation with them will result in perma-bans for the long-standing community members.

I'd actually be fairly shocked if we didn't see all of the above start to happen in the next week or two.

I'll take a screenshot of your post. Let's see how prophetic it turns out.
