SELLING ITEMS

I thought I knew how to sell item - go to inventory click on item to sell and click on sell... That doesn't seem to the the case or is there a glitch in the game? How do I sell items???

Found out I can sell items if they are not equiped. How do I sell equiped items???

You can equip another item, this will allow you to sell the item you originally had equipped.

I don't have other items to equip (except for 1) everything I read sez to sell everything before ascending... Looks like that can't be done.

Are you just Ascending or Transending? What level are you?
But to answer your exact question, you can't sell what you have equipped. That gear/weapon is what your ascended/transcended champion will wear when they go out to fight for you and take over territory for you. So actually you don't really want to sell EVERY thing.
I believe what they meant was to sell everything except what you want your Caos to have on, including spells, to fight with.
