This game just needs more endgame content.
But ,as before mentioned, the last update was many months ago. --> The game is (maybe just for the moment) dead.
Two of the main programmers got called over to another department to work on on Toy Soldiers: War Chest. Once they are done there, they'll resume work on Ascend. Signal still aims to make something great(er) out of Ascend, but right now it's kind of on a break.
As for Ascend on the 360, it was Microsoft that killed it, not Signal; they still want to continue on Ascend for the PC. Right now, though, they do not have enough resources to do both, and have to prioritize: a ubisoft title with real economy (and a contract) behind it must take priority over a free to play beta.
For what it's worth, Toy Soldiers: War Chest do seem rather hilarious. :)
Except to the end of the game and beyond? I didn't pay for anything and I beat the storyline and continued into the endgame for a bit - without much trouble at all.
Are you guys retarded or something?
Well anyway, I really hope they return soon to the game.
Months no updates and still awesome <3
