i´d really like to try this game but everytime after i finished creating my character i cant enter a name. It says invalid name even if i enter something really random like adshlhfasljafldh. But Peter or Bob or smth also wont work. pls help thx

Ok i solved the prob by myself. If anyone else has this bug: it seems to be a problem with steams big picture mode.. start it in normal mode and it will work. should be fixed though, i nearly gave up ;)

I'm on my first ascension and the game won't let me name my character. no matter what I put as my name, it always tells me "Name is not valid." is this a bug or is there something I'm missing? I'm completely stuck and can't play the game anymore unless I can resolve this issue.

no, I was just on a gamepad and I couldn't do it on the gamepad, I had to do it on the computer.

Are you using your keyboard and mouse for the character creation? or controller?
if controller, try just using your keyboard and mouse instead.

what is the name you are trying to create? and just making sure, i assume you have tried more then 1 name?

It is RenierV and yes I have tried others and samething happened

make sure there are no accent marks or even spaces, see if just a standard name works.......

also try checking the integrity of the game to make sure all the files downloaded correctly or even try uninstalling and reinstalling.

It won't work for me, I just tried to creat a Chaos and when I try to pick a name it says "Invalid Name" it doesn't matter what I write I even try putting my chaos DarkPennis wtf, starting in normal mode won't fix it for me :( pls help
