Ascend service unavailable.

Just installed. Started the game, and it searches for Caos Warrior record or something for a minute or two. Then says 'Ascend service is unavailable.'. If I start the game with the debug executable, it just sits at 'Signing In', and does nothing, forcing me to Alt+f4 to close the game.

It uses Steam account for signing in, so if you'er not using Steam it simply can't sign in.

Other than that-100% the same issue for me and many more players. You should check out pinned thread about it and post your region/location.

Not sure how that can help it, but hey-gotta start soemwhere.

Please understand that this game is in Open BETA! We're working hard to figure out these issues!

I know, it's open beta. I didn't mean I give up on the game completely. I still want to play it, and have confidence it will be fixed soon. Thanks for the updates and fast responses, that gives us all hope.

I actually think i figured it out, rather than going straight to the game open it through the launcher i was having the same issue and it worked when i did that.
