Service not available

I just downloaded the game and got stuck with this error. I searched around, most solutions were either admin access and cookies(o.O) overrided to allow all. Those didn't worked for me. No VPN or tunneling software. Are the servers down? Or do I just uninstall this and buy/look for another game? It's a shame though, the game looks good based on the videos I saw.

You say that you did admin access, but did you set both Steam and Ascend to always run with admin rights?

Having the same issue. Seems thats the anwser always provided here and it never gets past that when its not working. So much for playing this, looked like a lot of fun too.

i think it's just something happening hap hazardly right now. i had it happen a few days ago, rebooted my router and completely shut down my computer to find i had some updates that had to be done (not sure if that had anything to do with it) and when i got back on i could connect again. but it lasted about 30 minutes for the whole thing.
my husband just had the same thing last night, he tried over 20 times and it kept telling him the same thing. he just uninstalled the game from his computer and reinstalled it and it fixed it for him.

How are you checking it? I am trying to find out the progress of the game coming back up.

go to your web browser. pull up signalstudios.net
if it shows an error then the site is still down
and i mean the entire signal studios site is down, not just ascend.
so most likely that has something to do with not being able to get back on right now.
