Promising but the combat feels.....lacking.
The combat just doesn't feel quite right, the enemies don't really have all that obvious tells, for example one of the enemies around your size have a telegraph where they shout and lift their hammer, and then they grab you, does not make much sense does it?

The enemies also seem to recover WAY too fast from certain animations too, like Impale, I've found it more of a danger to my combos than not as most fodder that gets trapped by that can and will INSTANTLY attack the moment the effect wears off, which can happen long before or long after the spikes themselves are broken or such.

In short, promising but with the current state of the game some weapon types are just not really worth going for in my opinion(Hammers or whatever they are here for example.) and using the strong attacks in combos is more dangerous than not as enemies recover more than fast enough to smack you and break the combo, which would not be an issue if it wasn't that almost every single non-bos/miniboss enemy in this game didn't have this problem, one of the most glaring ones to me of those being the troll beserkers or whatever they were called again, the ones that apply "fury" to other trolls around them.

The large ogre does that too, he will raise his club before grabbing you. So I would say it is pretty obvious once you learn it.

I noticed some weapons are completely useless. The polearm and staff weapons are way too powerful, you can just LMB RMB to damage a large radius. With small weapons like the hammer they attack faster but only hit about 1 to 3 enemies at a time. I feel invincible when using the longer range weapons. Even when fighting champs these weapons are preferred because you can still hit them after being knocked back from a block. You will get way more hits in with longer ranged weapons.

Another issue I have is the difficulty. This game is way too easy. No punishment for dying and health regens after combat. It would make more sense to me if you didn't regen health after battle, then maybe eating humans would actually be useful.

This is a very addicting game; If it was harder and had more variety of enemies that addiction would be more sustainable and lead to more long term players.
