Women not allowed to wear shoes?

Is it illegal in this game's world or something?

Marie - no shoes
Laura - no shoes
Carmilla - no shoes
Claudia - no shoes
Even Baba Yaga - no shoes

Seems like if it has a vagina, it can't wear shoes. Or maybe the character designer for LoS has a thing for lady feet?

Joking aside, anyone else notice this?
