The DLC is awful
Wow, when they said the DLC was a mistake, they weren't kidding. Absolutely terrible. The main game was great fun but what the hell were they thinking with the DLC? Terrible platforming and an awful boss fight. Utter pants.

It depends. I actually liked it.
I just wish I could have got the achievement for beating the regular game in paladin mode. The forgotten one was just too hard.

if you didnt like it its on you, most of the people who buy it where there for the challenge and to know how the story ends not for just a walk, and if you played the game you alredy know that the plataforming of the game is as terrible as can gets , there is a overhaul mod for that if you want to fix that problem is pretty good if i say it, the boss fight is suppose to be a kick in the balls you are fighting a frkin ancient elder god demon, who god the devil the dark lords and every one who know about him fear him a lot, and the only reason you in some way are able to fight him is because he gets weak every time he tries to open one of the seals , if you are aware of the plot and the story of the enemis you are fighting most of them are realy great and they put a lot of effort on it
i need to say that the platforming of the dlc is hard as hell and the fight is even harder but from that to be something terrible is a great diference

DLC's boss fight was perfect, it probably didn't appeal to you or most gaymers because literally everything else was easier to do and the DLC was actually like a mastery mode. To do the DLC boss fight on the hardest mode you have to sort of prepare, do it perfectly, and perfect what you are doing in all aspects. The final sequence as far as I know is too sped up and powerful, so you will randomly get hit no matter what, but you need to basically save up through the fight and finish off the boss using what you saved up and do everything perfectly. It requires you to actually master the game, it clearly was not aimed at little kids, but was crafted by devs who liked perfecting and crafting the game. I also liked the fact it 'had' puzzles that sort of keep you immersed and make you think a bit if you want to solve, but still not too hard to ever stop you progressing. Some 'older' puzzles and games just suck but some of the casual puzzles and modernized things in this game were a good blend of old and new.

DLC was definitely Combo Mastery Mode. You need to be able to do more than just whip and dodge. Unfortunately. I was never good at memorizing combos. Like, ever. Street Fighter, Dead Or Alive, Tekken, Soul Blade, Mortal Kombat, whatever. They always gave me fits because of my dyslexia. I did have a perpetual combo in Tekken (2 or 3?) with Jun, but it was weak. It was also unblockable. Took forever to beat the game that way, but once you got it rolling, it was just making a circle with the buttons. Over, and over, and over. Had a 14 hit unblockable with Christie in DoA4, too, but one slip and you were eating floor.

To be fair, I have more problems with the skeletons than the forgotten one in paladin difficulty.
Eventually you get used to the forggoten one move set, dodge it, and attack him when he is attacking.

The DLC final boss fight was ridiculous. I like hard games and never really have a problem beating them but this boss was crazy. No iframes and the boss is contently attacking with small attack windows and you have a small health pool while the bosses is huge. After hours of trying on the third stage, I finally gave in. The first boss I could not beat.
