I searched for a while for help with this puzzle. for clarification it is the yellow room in the observatory. the fixes on here did not help me, but i did figure out an easy way for my problem. i mapped the i key to space bar, and had someone hold it down for me while i changed directions at the necessary time. i hope this helps.
